Professional Background
Kaitlin Wiechert, LMFT, is a seasoned therapist and strategic clinical leader with nearly two decades of experience spanning private practice, youth residential care, and public mental health systems. She is the CEO and Clinical Director of Your Love Story Expert, a boutique therapy practice specializing in high-impact couples therapy and immersive weekend intensives designed to catalyze lasting transformation.
In September 2025, Kaitlin completed advanced training in London with 6 Feet From the Spotlight, earning her Wellbeing Facilitator Certification. This specialized credential enriches her long-standing work with entertainers, creatives, and high-profile clients by equipping her to support psychological safety and emotional wellbeing directly on set. Her training deepens her understanding of the unique pressures faced by actors, musicians, and production teams, enhancing her ability to provide grounded, discreet, and industry-sensitive care.
Kaitlin most recently served as Clinic Supervisor for the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health, where she led Full-Service Partnership and Children’s Services teams for more than four years. In this role, she provided clinical supervision to associate therapists, directed crisis response efforts including 5150 evaluations, and maintained oversight of quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Her leadership experience also includes serving as Head of Services for Inspire a Youth STRTP, overseeing multiple group home programs and developing trauma-informed treatment models for at-risk youth. She played a pivotal role in creating the RBEST crisis outreach program and led survivor support initiatives through San Bernardino Sexual Assault Services for over five years.
Whether working with couples, supporting high-profile clients and creative professionals, guiding clinical teams, or mentoring emerging therapists, Kaitlin brings a grounded presence, exceptional clinical depth, and an unwavering commitment to healing, growth, and connection.
