EXPERTS
An elite collective of therapists led by Kaitlin Wiechert, LMFT
Our Mission
At Your Love Story Expert, our mission is to help individuals and couples do the profound, courageous work of transformation: healing old wounds, breaking cycles that no longer serve them, and building relationships rooted in genuine connection, trust, and joy.
This is not surface-level work. This is the kind of change that ripples into every corner of your life. And we are here for every moment of it.
Clinical Excellence Meets Heart
Meet Our Founder & CEO
Hi, I’m Kaitlin Wiechert, LMFT
I will not sit across from you and nod. I will sit across from you, see what is actually happening, and tell you the truth about it with care and expertise.
Because I am not interested in comfortable therapy. I am interested in effective therapy. The kind that finds the real issue beneath the one you walked in with, names it honestly, and actually does something about it.
That is the difference between talking about your life… and actually transforming it.
Nearly two decades of clinical experience have taken me through private practice, public mental health systems, crisis response, trauma-informed care for at-risk youth, and the intimate, high-stakes world of high-profile and celebrity clients. I have sat with people in their darkest places and watched them find their way to the light.
My approach is grounded in Relational Life Therapy, attachment science, trauma-informed care, and the Gottman Method. It is direct because you deserve honesty. It is compassionate because I know how much courage it takes to be sitting in that chair. And it goes deep. Because real transformation requires more than insight alone.
You are not here by accident. And I do not take lightly the privilege of being part of your story.

LOVE LETTERS
The right therapist doesn't just listen. They see you: your patterns, your potential, the version of yourself you haven't fully stepped into yet. Every member of this team was chosen because they have that rare ability. They are here to challenge you, champion you, and walk with you toward the life and love you desire.

Bilingual Therapist (English & Spanish) | Couples, Individuals & Teens
Life was once described to me as walking through a dark room full of furniture, each piece representing an unresolved wound, an old pattern, a moment of pain you didn't see coming. I believe therapy is the gentle light of a candle. It doesn't remove what's in your way. It helps you finally see it and find a path through.
-
I work with couples, individuals, and teens to illuminate the hidden dynamics shaping their emotional responses and relational patterns. My approach is culturally responsive and trauma-informed, deeply honoring of your lived experience, your story, and where you come from.
Whether you're navigating grief, attachment wounds, acculturation challenges, parenting struggles, or longstanding relationship conflict, I bring both clinical depth and genuine warmth to our work. My hope is simple: that through our time together, you leave carrying more light than you arrived with and that you find yourself walking through life with greater awareness, clarity, and connection.
I also offer therapy in Spanish, and I consider it a privilege to serve the Spanish-speaking community with the full depth of care they deserve.
I believe that healing happens in the context of secure relationships, and that therapy can be one of the most powerful places to begin experiencing that. My work starts with one commitment: that you will feel genuinely safe, genuinely seen, and genuinely supported from the moment you walk in.

Couples, Individuals | Attachment, Betrayal Recovery, Trauma, Anxiety & Depression
-
I specialize in working with individuals and couples facing relational challenges, emotional disconnection, intimacy struggles, conflict, and the complex aftermath of betrayal or trauma. At the heart of my approach is attachment theory: understanding how you learned to love, where that learning was shaped by pain, and how to begin building more secure, emotionally responsive ways of connecting.
I draw from an integrative toolkit that includes Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Relational Life Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, always guided by what you need, at the pace that feels right for you.
Wherever you are in your story, I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, intention, and an unwavering belief that something better is possible.

Couples, Individuals & Families | Intimacy, Communication, Infidelity, Pre-Marital Counseling
I believe that healing begins in connection, with ourselves and with each other. Even in the midst of the most difficult emotional storms, I have witnessed couples and individuals rediscover the strength, resilience, and love they thought they had lost. That possibility is what drives everything I do.
-
I work with individuals, couples, and families to strengthen relational bonds, deepen emotional intimacy, and rebuild trust when it has been broken. Whether you're struggling with emotional distance, miscommunication, infidelity, or simply feeling unseen in your relationship, you are welcome here, exactly as you are.
I am Prepare & Enrich Certified, a Level II Certified Restoration Therapist, and trained in both the Gottman Method and Relational Life Therapy. I also hold credentials as a Certified Health and Well-being Coach, which allows me to bring a holistic lens to our work, supporting your emotional, relational, and overall wellbeing together.
My goal is not just to help you navigate the storm. It is to help you rediscover the resources you already carry and build new ones for every season ahead. It is never too late to create a relationship filled with meaning, safety, and deep connection.

Couples, Individuals & Teens | DBT, Anxiety, Emotional Regulation, Adolescent Development
Relationships are meant to be a place of safety, love, and support. And when they stop feeling that way, whether between partners, within a family, or within yourself, I believe something can be done about it. That belief is what I bring to every session, every client, every story I have the privilege of being part of.
-
I specialize in helping couples break out of painful cycles, rebuild intimacy, and create a partnership that feels genuinely connected. Drawing from the Gottman Method, I help couples understand the deeper patterns beneath their conflict and develop the communication tools to turn arguments into opportunities for understanding.
For individuals and teens, I integrate DBT skills like mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance to help you find balance, manage overwhelming emotions, and move forward with greater self-compassion and confidence.
Therapy, in my view, isn't only about addressing what's broken. It's about discovering new ways to grow, connect, and thrive. Whatever brings you here, I am committed to making sure you leave more equipped, more seen, and more hopeful than when you arrived.

Couples & Marriage Counseling | Communication, Trust & Intimacy, Conflict Resolution
If you're here, you've already done something brave. Reaching out for support, for yourself or for your relationship, takes courage. And I want you to know: you are in the right place. I am here to meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, and walk alongside you toward something better.
-
I work with couples at all stages, whether you're navigating everyday friction, feeling stuck in cycles of conflict, or trying to find your way back to each other after something that shook the foundation. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical: I create a space where both partners feel truly heard, and then we get to work.
Together, we'll focus on the skills that change relationships from the inside out, like learning to truly listen, rebuilding trust and intimacy, and finding healthier ways to move through conflict so that hard conversations become opportunities for deeper understanding rather than deeper distance.
I believe that taking the first step is already an act of love, for yourself and for your relationship. I am honored to be part of what comes next.
Not Sure Where to Start?
